Trio piano, clarinet and cello

Stanislav Ushinkin Fanny Koutzarova - piano, Ventzislav Trifonov - clarinet, Stanislav Ushinkin - cello


He began his career as a soloist giving concerts in his native Bulgaria and participates in several tours of Europe in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France and others.

He was principal cello NEW BULGARIA SOFIA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA.

Later he traveled to Mexico where he has been a teacher of cello at the music faculty of UANL Also participating in the first cello NUEVO LEON Sinfonietta, and as first cello soloist and chamber orchestra in the UANL. He participated as a soloist and principal cello in the most important musical project originated in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León such as New Millennium and love with which the undertook several tours across Mexico lodged in the most important concert halls in entity.

He has recorded for various record labels and recently completed in February of this year is his first album playing Mexican music with Violin and Harp.

Piano and clarinet duo

Ventzislav Trifonov Ventzislav Trifonov was born in 1982 in Pazardjik.

His music education began at the age of six with piano lessons and at the age of thirteen with clarinet lessons.

In 2001 he graduated from the Secondary Music School "Dobrin Petkov" in Plovdiv as a Dimiter Boyanov’s clarinet student. In 2006 Ventzislav Trifonov graduated from the Bulgarian National Academy of Music "P. Vladigerov". He completed his master degree in the clarinet class of Prof. Petko Radev.

Ventzislav Trifonov has won many awards and his first was in 1996 on the Fifth Regional Examinations. In 1998 he won two awards on the Second French Music Competition – "High Art Performance" and "Youngest Participant". On the National Bulgarian Music Competition "Dobri Hristov" /2000/ he earned the Second prize and on the XVIII National Competition "Svetoslav Obretenov" – incentive award.

As a soloist Ventzislav Trifonov plays with the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphony Student Orchestra, Pazardjik Symphony Orchestra, also plays on many concerts and recitals. His repertoire consists of clarinet and chamber music pieces of different styles and composers.

In 2007 Ventzislav Trifonov is a winner of the prize of International Competition "Music and Earth". He won the Second chamber music prize on the same competition.

Ventzislav Trifonov was an orchestra soloist during the years 2008–2009 at the musical Elisabeth – Die wahre Geschichte der Sissi in Zurich, Switzerland. Nowadays he is an assistant clarinet leader at the National Music Theater "Stefan Makedonski" in Sofia.

Piano and guitar duo

Rossen Balkanski Rossen Balkanski was born in 1968 in Sofia

His first steps in the world of music were with the Sofia Boys’ Choir where he used to sing from the very beginning of its foundation. At the age of 11 he began his guitar educations.

As a student in the National Music School "L. Pipkov" Rossen Balkanski was every National guitar competition prizewinner. His first attempts in composing dated from that time.

In 1982 Rossen Balkanski won the third prize at the International Guitar Competition "Kutna Hora" in the Check Republic (former Czechoslovakia). Thus he became the first international prizewinner Bulgarian guitarist. In 1989 he won his first national composer’s prize for his "Three Bulgarian Pieces".

Rossen Balkanski graduated from the Bulgarian Music Academy "P. Vladigerov". In 2000 he completed his Master degree in classical guitar and was invited to teach in the Academy. Nowadays he is the one and only who teaches classical guitar there.

He won several more prizes as a guitarist, as well as a composer. For his composition "Three Miniatures" he took the first prize at the II Academic Competition in the city of Plovdiv. In the same 2000 he became the prizewinner at the International Performers Competition.

World-class publishing houses as BIM, Daminus, Cahier de la guitare, etc issue his author’s compositions. A lot of leading guitarists play his compositions as well.

Rossen Balkanski is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Composers and a member of the Board of Directors of the Guitarists Association in Bulgaria.

Duo piano

Polina Antonova Polina Antonova was born in 1977 in Bourgas.

She successfully completed her secondary education at The School of Music "P. Vladigerov" – Bourgas.

In 2000 Polina Antonova graduated her bachelor degree and in 2003 her master degree from the Bulgarian National Academy of Music "P.Vladigerov" where she was a student at the piano class of prof. Yovcho Krushev and chamber music class of prof. Victor Chuchkov. She attended prof. Paolo Pochini’, prof. Konstantino Mastropremiani’ and prof. Atanas Kurtev’ master classes.

Polina Antonova is a winner of international and national competitions. She plays solo and chamber music and her first concert as an orchestra soloist was at the age of 14.

She has records for the Bulgarian National Radio, the private "7 Days" TV and Bulgarian National Television.

Polina Antonova has played at the festivals "New Bulgarian Music", "Contemporary Acoustic Music", International Festival "Hopes, Masters, Talents", "Music Serioso", "Sofia Summer", Sound and Relation" and "Young Virtuous". She had concerts in Germany, Italy, Poland, etc. Currently Polina Antonova studies her PH degree at the Bulgarian Science Academy – Institute of Art.
